Through a sustained and evolving practice, I explore the mutual influence between individuals and their surroundings, and the emotional connection and agency that underpin the process of change. With drawing and painting at its core, I merge the imaginary with real-world subjects and places to create possibilities for alternative ways of seeing and experiencing place.

The outcomes are often dreamlike projections or mirages, emphasising the role of light and shadow as they exist within meteorological, seasonal, and natural cycles. In a time of immense distraction and change, I seek to centre the relationship between people and place.
